Mark Houser, best known as the lead vocalist for Mark Houser & Bluegrass Drive, will co-host Americanaville On the Road. Houser's debut album Mark Houser & Bluegrass Drive's Uneven Road reached #9 on the Billboard Bluegrass Chart on September 29, 2012. The album produced 3 chart singles including #1 Lead Me Home that featured Grammy winning artist Rhonda Vincent on harmony vocals.
Houser has had songs recorded by Little River Band; Rodney Atkins; Jack Greene; The Roys; Carrie Hassler & Hard Rain (including #1 single Seven Miles From Wichita); Russell Hitchcock of Air Supply; Anthony Krizan of Spin Doctors; David Adam Byrnes and Rhonda Vincent. The upcoming Roots Gospel project from Mark Conklin features Houser co-written songs recorded by, in addition to Conklin, The Fisk Jubilee Singers, T. Graham Brown, Wendy Moten, John Berry and Rhonda Vincent.
His has 7 chart singles as a writer, including 5 from his own projects.
His songs have played from the stage at the Grand Ole Opry by Opry member Jack Greene, to all around the globe thanks to having written the closing theme for the motion picture No Justice.
The Americanaville On the Road film crew have been to the home towns of many celebrities and will soon be releasing their unique stories of how they made the American Dream come true. Upcoming shows include:
(1.) Wayne Newton, known as Mr. Las Vegas, is a world renowned icon. We interviewed him in his home in Las Vegas, Nevada.
(2.) Alan, Suzanne, and Nathan Osmond- two generations of the beloved Osmonds' family. Alan was the band leader in the early years and the Producer of the Donnie and Marie Show. Nathan was a member of The Osmonds- Second Generation. We interviewed them in their home in Provo, Utah.
(3.) Gary Morris, a singer and songwriter that combined a Country Music and Broadway into a multiple genre career.
(4.) Cledus T. Judd, a famous country music parity singer and comedian, we interviewed Cledus in his hometown of Cartersville, Georgia.
(5.) Darryl Worley, a country music star who wrote and sing the hit song, Have You Forgotten. We interviewed Darryl in his hometown of Savannah, Tennessee.
